PingMyThing’s Data Processing Addendum explains how we process personal data on behalf of customers using the PingMyThing service.
Version 1.0 — last updated 16 July 2026
About the DPA
The Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) forms part of the agreement governing the customer’s use of PingMyThing where PingMyThing processes personal data as a processor on behalf of that customer.
The DPA describes:
- the respective responsibilities of the customer and PingMyThing;
- the nature and purpose of the processing;
- the types of personal data and categories of data subjects involved;
- our technical and organisational measures;
- the service providers and subprocessors used to deliver the service;
- international-transfer safeguards;
- security-incident and audit arrangements; and
- retention, deletion, backup and recovery boundaries.
The DPA applies where Sendacom Ltd, operating PingMyThing, processes personal data as a processor on behalf of a customer. For account, website, billing, support, security, legal and business records, PingMyThing may instead act as a controller, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
This page should be read with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Service Providers and Subprocessors page.
Where the DPA applies, it forms part of the agreement governing the customer’s use of PingMyThing. A customer-specific countersigned copy may be provided where appropriate for organisational customers.
